【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesperformancerequirementsforballastsfordischargelampssuchashigh-pressuremercuryvapour,low-pressuresodiumvapour,high-pressuresodiumvapourandmetalhalidelamps.Clauses12through15eachdetailspecificrequirementsforaparticulartypeofballast.Thisstandardcoversinductivetypeballastsforuseona.c.suppliesupto1000Vat50Hzto60Hzassociatedwithdischargelamps,havingratedwattage,dimensionsandcharacteristicsasspecifiedintherelevantIEClampstandards.NOTE1Forcertaintypesofdischargelampsanignitorisrequired.NOTE2Extensionofthestandardtocoverballastsincorporating,orforusewith,seriescapacitorsisunderconsideration.NOTE3TheperformancerequirementsofballastsfortubularfluorescentlampsarecoveredbyIEC60921.NOTE4Thereareregionalstandardsregardingtheregulationofmainscurrentharmonicsforend-productssuchasluminairesandindependentcontrolgear.Inaluminairethecontrolgearisdominantinthisrespect.Controlgear,togetherwithothercomponents,shouldcomplywiththesestandards.
