【摘要】:Thestrengthandperformanceofheat-strengthenedandfullytemperedglassisgreatlyaffectedbythesurfaceandedgestressinducedduringtheheat-treatingprocess.TheedgeandsurfacestresslevelsarespecifiedinSpecificationC1048,intheEngineeringStandardsManualofGANA,andinforeignspecifications.Surfacestressescanbemeasurednondestructivelyusingmethods,suchasTestMethodC1279.Thecalibrationofsurfacemeasuringdevicesusedinthoseproceduresandperiodicverificationofcalibrationareneeded.Thistestmethodoffersaconvenientwaytoaccomplishthistask.1.1Thistestmethodcoverscalibrationorverificationofcalibration,orboth,ofsurface-stressmeasuringdevicesusedtomeasurestressinannealedandheat-strengthenedortemperedglassusingpolariscopicorrefractometrybasedprinciples.1.2Thistestmethodisnondestructive.1.3Thistestmethodusestransmittedlight,andtherefore,isapplicabletolight-transmittingglasses.1.4Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletochemicallytemperedglass.1.5Usingtheproceduredescribed,surfacestressescanbemeasuredonlyonthex201C;tinx201D;sideoffloatglass.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
