【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstaticallycastdualmetalrollswiththeouterlayeroftherollbodybeingchilledwhiteironofdifferentchemicalcompositionthanthecoreandjournalsoftherollwhichisgraycastiron.Thecastingsaresuitableforpressurecontainingparts,thedesignstrengthofwhichisbasedonthegrayironportionofthecylinder.Thecastingsaresuitableforserviceattemperaturesupto450x00B0;F[232x00B0;C].1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thefollowingsafetyhazardsstatementpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,9,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
