【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtomeasureandcomparethermalpropertiesofmaterialsundercontrolledconditionsandtheirabilitytomaintainrequiredthermalconductancelevels.1.1Thistestmethodcoversasteady-statetechniqueforthedeterminationoftheresistancetothermaltransmission(thermalresistance)ofmaterialsinthicknessesoflessthan25mm.Forhomogeneousopaquesolidspecimensofarepresentativethickness,thermalconductivitycanbedetermined(seeNote0).Thistestmethodisusefulforspecimenshavingathermalresistanceintherangefrom10to400104m2K/W,whichcanbeobtainedfrommaterialsofthermalconductivityintheapproximaterangefrom0.1to30W/(mK)overtheapproximatetemperaturerangefrom150to600K.Itcanbeusedoutsidetheserangeswithreducedaccuracyforthickerspecimensandforthermalconductivityvaluesupto60W/(mK).Note0Abodyisconsideredhomogeneouswhenthepropertytobemeasuredisfoundtobeindependentofspecimendimensions.1.2ThistestmethodissimilarinconcepttoTestMethodC518,butismodifiedtoaccommodatesmallertestspecimens,havingahigherthermalconductance.Inaddition,significantattentionhasbeenpaidtoensurethatthethermalresistanceofcontactingsurfacesisminimizedandreproducible.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsareconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
